Local people return home after fleeing from ARSA extremist Bengali terrorists’ attacks, receive medical care

Among the ethnic nationals who fled their native places following the attacks of ARSA extremist Bengali terrorists in Rakhine State, some of those are returning home as peace and security had been restored thanks to the systematic regional security and rule of law operations being conducted by security forces.

In so doing, 190 local residents from Kyaungnabe Village sheltering in Thupandaka Village, Maungtaw Township, 240 from Paukkyat Village sheltering in Pangonma Village and 220 from Dotan Village returned home today. During their way home, they were escorted by security troops.

Moreover, mobile Tatmadaw medical teams are giving health-care services to the fleeing local natives and service personnel. Today, they provided necessary medical treatment for 21 local residents from Taung-pyowe Village and 16 from Khamaungseik Village in Maungtaw Township and 13 from Taungbaza Village in Buthidaung Township.
