Senior General Min Aung Hlaing fulfills needs of the girl, whose two parents died in shooting of insurgents at Yaw-ei-shi primary school in Laukkai


Senior General Min Aung Hlaing views medical treatment process for two months old Ma                 Hsaung December Tun at Defence Services General Hospital (1000-bed).

As MNDAA insurgents shot at Yaw-ei-shi primary school in Laukkai at about 2 am on 6 March, Maung Wai Yan Tun and teacher Ma Bya Mee, parents of two months old daughter Ma Hsaung December Tun, died on the spot, and the daughter remains alive. 

The girl is undergoing medical treatment at the ear, nose and throat specialist unit of Defence Services General Hospital (1000-bed) in Nay Pyi Taw. This morning, Commanderin- Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, accompanied by Adjutant-General Lt-Gen Hsan Oo, the commander of Nay Pyi Taw Command and officials, went to the girl. 

First, the Senior General viewed medical examination of ear and heart at the girl by specialists from the hospital. The medical superintendent reported to the Senior General on health conditions of the girl. After hearing the reports, the Senior General instructed officials to fully provide necessary medical examination and treatment to the girl. 

Next, the Senior General gave words of encouragement to grandparents of the girl and presented  cash assistance for her. The Senior General cordially greeted relatives  and officials from Shwepyitawthoh Hsonhmat Charity Association who sent the girl to the hospital.

The association together with the grandparents took Ma Hsaung December Tun along with them to Nay Pyi Taw for providing medical checkup and treatment to her. The Tatmadaw will take responsibility for providing health care services to the girl.
