Senior General Min Aung Hlaing inspects Tatmadaw Textile Factory (Meiktila)

Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing accompanied by Joint Chief of the General Staff (Army, Navy and Air) Commander-in-Chief (Air) General Khin Aung Myint, Commander-in-Chief (Navy) Vice- Admiral Tin Aung San, senior military officers of the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army), and the commander of central command inspected Tatmadaw Textile Factory (Meiktila) this evening.

First, the Senior General and party heard a report on production and welfare undertakings presented by the factory manager. The Senior General said higher quality is required in manufacturing finishedgoods which must be distributed at earliest time. Yearly depreciation must be calculated, and aim must be set to produce school uniforms for children of families. He also spoke of the need to fulfill the needs of Tatmadaw in time, conduct maintenance work regularly, and provide welfare services and better food for factory employees, adding, obedience of rules should be the priority in employment selection. The Senior General and party observed the products of the factory. (100)
