Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing hosted a dinner to member of the Central Military Commission and Chief of the Joint Staff of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army-PLA General Fang Fenghui at Zeyathiri Parlour here at 7 pm yesterday.

Also present at the dinner were Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Commander-in-Chief (Army) Vice-Senior General Soe Win, Chief of the General Staff (Army, Navy and Air)General Mya Tun Oo and senior military officers of the Office of the Commander-in-Chief. General Fang Fenghui was accompanied by Ambassador of China to Myanmar H.E. Mr.Hong Liang, the Vice Chief of Staff (Army), the Vice Chief of Staff (Navy) and senior military officers of PLA.

First, the Tatmadaw Band played the national anthems of the two countries.

Then, the Senior General and the Chief of the Joint Staff extended greetings and sat for dinner together with those in attendance.

During the dinner, the Myawady Music Band under Directorate of Public Relations and Psychological Warfare played songs and performed dances.

After the dinner, gifts were exchanged. Later, members of the band were presented baskets of flowers and they posed for photo.
