Myanmar Tatmadaw goodwill delegation led by Senior General Min Aung Hlaing leaves for SRV on goodwill visit

A Myanmar Tatmadaw goodwill delegation led by Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing left Nay Pyi Taw Airport at 1 pm today at the invitation of National Defence Minister H.E. Mr. Ngo Xuan Lich of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

 The goodwill delegation led by Senior General Min Aung Hlaing was seen off at the airport by Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Commander-in- Chief (Army) Vice-Senior General Soe Win and wife Daw Than Than Nwe, senior military officers of the Office of the Commander-in-Chief, the commander of Nay Pyi Taw Command, Vietnamese Ambassador to Myanmar H.E. Mrs. Luan Thuy Duong, Cambodian Ambassador to Myanmar H.E. Mr. Sok Chea and officials.

Senior General Min Aung Hlaing and wife Daw Kyu Kyu Hla were accompanied by Chief of the General Staff (Army, Navy and Air) General Mya Tun Oo and senior military officers of the Office of the Commander-in-Chief.

After the visit to Vietnam, the Myanmar delegation will proceed to Cambodia on a goodwill visit. During the visits, the Myanmar Tatmadaw delegation will hold talks with the heads of State and military chiefs of respective countries and visit significant places of both countries.
