The Tatmadaw plans to continue gaining greater progress without accepting any issues which can undermine the situations of the signed NCA. The Tatmadaw, being a Union Tatmadaw representing the State, is maintaining its commitments and cooperating with the government in development of the nation and internal peace-making processes, said Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing at the meeting with a delegation led by Chairman of the Nippon Foundation of Japan Special Envoy of the Government of Japan for National Reconciliation in Myanmar H.E. Mr. Yohei SASAKAWA at the Parlour of Bayintnaung Villa, here, at 10.30 am today.

Also present at the call were Chief of the General Staff (Army, Navy and Air) General Mya Tun Oo and senior military officers of the Office of the Commanderin- Chief (Army) together withH.E. Mr. Yohei SASAKAWA and officials.

At the meeting, they cordially discussed promotion of friendly relations and cooperation between the two armed forces of Myanmar and Japan, plans on training affairs and goodwill visits, and participation of the Nippon Foundation in peacemaking processes in Myanmar.

After the meeting, the Senior General and H.E. Mr. Yohei SASAKAWA exchanged gifts and posed for documentary photo together with delegation members.
