A Myanmar Tatmadaw goodwill delegation led by Commander-in- Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing left here by air this morning for a goodwill visit to Thailand at the invitation of the Chief of Defence Forces of the Royal Thai Armed Forces General Sommai Kaotira.
The delegation was seen off at Nay Pyi Taw Airport by Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Commander-in-Chief (Army) Vice-Senior General Soe Win and wife, the Union Minister for Home Affairs, senior military officers of the Office of the Commander- in-Chief and their wives, the commander of Nay Pyi Taw Command, Minister Chainarong Keratiyutwong of Thai Embassy in Myanmar, Defence and Army Attaché Colonel Salawin Uttarak, Naval Attaché Capt Apakorn Youkongkaew and officials.
Delegation members Daw Kyu Kyu Hla, wife of the Senior General and senior military officers of the Office of the Commander-in-Chief were also on board the fl ight. During the visit, the delegation will hold talks with heads of Thai Government and Royal Thai Armed Forces.
