Vice-Senior General Soe Win receives Senior Mediator of the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs of Switzerland

Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Commander-in-Chief (Army) Vice-Senior General Soe Win received Dr. Julian Thomas Hottinger, Senior Mediator of the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs of Switzerland, at the parlour of Bayintnaung Villa here this afternoon.

Also present at the call together with the Vice-Senior General were senior military officers of the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army). The senior mediator was accompanied by officials.

At the meeting, views on the experiences, results and future work programmes of the exclusive meeting between the government and the leaders of ethnic armed organizations-EAOs, signatories

-

to the Nationwide Ceasefire Agree-ment-NCA, at the third anniversary of the NCA, continuous endeavours to restore eternal peace and points  of the peace process were exchanged.

After the meeting, the Vice-Senior General presented a souvenir to the senior mediator and posed for group documentary photo.
