Tatmadawmen help carry bags and household utensils of local ethnic people on their return to home.

Among the local ethnics fleeing their homes in the aftermath of attacks by ARSA extremist Bengali terrorists in Rakhine State, those taking refuge at the Dhammayon of Lawka Manaung Pagoda and Teinnyoywathit Village Monastery in Mrauk-U Township are planning to return home as community peace and stability has been restored thanks to security forces’ measures for ensuring the rule of law. So, Tatmadawmen from Mrauk-U Station and departmental officials visited and encouraged them yesterday and today.
Of those local natives, 126 people of 44 households from Kingchaung, Waythali, Ywathaya, Mingyi, Mingalarnyunt, Thinbawhla and Yaynaukngatha villages in Maungtaw Township and Aungzeya, Khahtihla, Pauktaw, Zidon and Taungyiyin villages in Buthidaung Township were transported in fi ve Tatmadaw trucks under the escort of security forces yesterday afternoon.
