Views exchanged on successful holding of second Union Peace Conference-21st Century Panglong (Second)

Senior General Min Aung Hlaing holds talks with H.E.Mr. Sun Guoxiang, Chinese Special Envoy for Asian Affairs.

Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing received H.E. Mr. Sun Guoxiang, Special Envoy for Asian Affairs, Foreign Affairs Ministry of the People’s Republic of China, at Bayintnaung Parlour in Nay Pyi Taw at 2.30 pm yesterday. 

Together with the Senior General at the call were Deputy Commanderin-Chief of Defence Services Commander-in-Chief (Army) Vice-Senior General Soe Win, Chief of the General Staff (Army, Navy and Air) General Mya Tun Oo and Lt-Gen Soe Htut of the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army). The Chinese special envoy was accompanied by Chinese Ambassador to Myanmar H.E. Mr. Hong Liang, Military Attaché Senior Colonel Xiong Shaowei and officials.

Both sides cordially discussed and exchanged views on bilateral ties and promotion of the friendship and cooperation between the two militaries and successful holding of the Union Peace Conference-the 21st Century Panglong (Second).
