The Myanmar Tatmadaw delegation led by Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, who attended the 14th ASEAN Chiefs of Defence Forces Informal Meeting(14th ACDFIM) held in Manila, the Philippines,left Ninoy Aquino Airport at 1 pm local standard time yesterday. The delegation was seen off at the airport by Brigadier General HENRICO RENNALDO R MACALALAD from the Philippine armed forces, Myanmar Ambassador to the Philippines U Win Naing and wife,Myanmar Military Attaché Col Win Myat and wife and officials.
The delegation led by the Senior General arrived back at Yangon International Airport at 7.15 pm and was welcomed back by Yangon Command Commander Brig-Gen Thet Pon and senior military officers, Chargé d' Affaires of the Philippine Embassy to Myanmar Ms.Stephnie Alexis A. Cruz and officials.
Daw Kyu Kyu Hla, wife of the Senior General, Lt-Gen Soe Htut of the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army) and senior military officers,who were comprised of the delegation, also arrived back.While in the Philippines,the Senior General attended the 14th ACDFIM and held discussions with ASEAN Chiefs of Defence Forces separately.
